Brand new CK BOX for sale

Do you go buy all your stuff directly from the manufacturer without going through the middle man? I thought so…lol

We live in a capitalistic society here in USA. If you don’t like it, it’s too bad. There are many other things you should put your focus in your life, not on what I’m doing.

Thank you for your kind words.

We live in a capitalistic society, that’s true. If the market thinks your a prick and nobody likes you, the moment they label you as a leech and a scalper you’re out of business. If you want to succeed you have to meet the needs and desires of the market. Be respectful towards others who differ in opinion from you, it goes a long way.

The point they’re trying to make is that in order to make any kind of money on the CK-Boxes you had to have gotten them from Goldshell or DX-pool, I personally agree with this conclusion. The market frowns on this kind of behavior and its very easy to point out. You’re buying out stock that’s freely available to the public in order to make a buck for yourself. You add nothing to the market this way. They’re right, you’re a scalper, you take goods available to the market, add a mark up and give it back to the market. If you want to become a proper store, launch your LLC, establish your company, find a supplier overseas and sell from there.

You can check over this forum, I don’t have a single complaint about being a scalper, yet my CK-Box price is $1,500 each. The difference being my source is not freely available to public and through my company it’s made freely available, along with providing other buyer protections.

Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it. I have an established LLC, and I bought these from a supplier overseas. As far as other necessary steps I need to take, I’m working on it.

I feel like the bigger issue underlined in some of the comments here, but have not been voiced out loud is the fact that instead of using proper channels to sell stuff (ebay, newegg, or getting your website off the ground that looks like you’ve already purchased the domain for), you are “using” this community forum as a free promo platform to sell stuff and make money.

Vosk is now well established, very recognized and respected name in crypto community and I’m pretty sure that if he wanted to run “SCALPERS-R-US” operation, he would be all over that by now. Yet, every time he had a “garage sale”, he took it to ebay

Over the past few months this forum has become a free marketplace for a few different sellers and I’m not against an occasional listing here-there if you are upgrading your miner rig and selling an old one, or if you bought something new that didn’t fit your needs.
But for everything else there should be a proper marketplace used or another operation established - the one that doesn’t “hide” behind someone else’s name…

Try selling a miner on ebay with more than 10 quantities. They will restrict your account and hold your funds hostage. I’ve already gone that route. Check my ebay user id under “desertvalleyasics”. I have more than 600 feedbacks and more than 8 years of history. They blocked my account because they labeled me a “risk” for transacting in cryto instead traditional bank route when I acquired these miners. Ebay has no protection for sellers. Buyers can still initiate a return even if your listing says no return. Not only are you going to receive an “opened” miner, you still have to pay ebay the final value fee that they initially charged you. You’re hit from both front and back.
Not sure why people are so upset and jealous with others trying to make extra money when opportunity is there. I’m sure many would do the same.

And FYI, I didn’t acquire these miners from goldshell.

Thanks i will check it out

I’m pretty new to mining and getting scammed was my biggest concern when I bought my first miner. From what I can tell there are a few sellers active on this forum and the fact that they post regularly and have good credibility is a great addition to the forum, in my opinion. If I am not liking the price, then I wont buy it.

Great point, but this drives the prices up overall, and then you see them going up everywhere else, even when buying from the manufactures :frowning:

And that’s where the issue lies. Further increasing the price makes it so that the entry point for mining is higher than it should be, which in turn just perpetuates inequality. Crypto (generally speaking) should help eradicate this inequality.

You should not be able to scalp miners on this forum. Go to Ebay and scalp if you want to take miners away from us. They are $699 at Goldshell when they have them. You are using this forum to scalp miners at an inflated price go sell them on other forums. We are interested in making money here and not getting ROI for 3 years. Many people are new to mining like me and you are taking advantage of us. VoskCoin should not allow this on his forum. No resellers for profit. I thought he was trying to help new miners and we are just being taken advantage of.

Um what? Making a profit is what this entire en-devour is about… Small gains to cover investments and shipping is not un-realistic. How are you being taken advantage of?

Thats not exactly true in context of the word scalping. Some people believe in time is money. Shipping time sucks from China, shipping fees vary based on how it is shipped, so a buyer can incur alot of fees not dealing direct with the manufactures. Not many want to wait on Bobcat and its unreal ship times of 6 months now. So off to ebay to buy at $1200-$1500 instead of the $650 direct. However if like me I brought 4 Bobcats off ebay and realized I did not want to use all 4 after a few weeks of the experience with the HNT network. So I wanted to sell my Bobcat at exactly what I paid on ebay for it which was $1300 each . I posted them here and I explained I paid $1300 I expect $1300. Well, I actually sold it at $1200, but the guy did by my antenna and cable too and it was $1300 total. He has already made $400 in HNT just in 3 weeks not having to wait forever on Bobcat to ship a miner.

So not everyone is here to scalp a miner they purchased. Even if they did buy it at $650 and wanted to sell at $1250 its the time issue you are overcoming in some cases.

I am all for free enterprise and making a profit. My point is he is buying the miners to resell here for a profit. He even said he is going to sell another batch. So he is just buying them to sell them here. This forum is just like Ebay then! I will start buying all the miners I can from Goldshell and sell them here for a profit. Since you all want to overpay for a miner $1200 that only has a 180 day warranty and makes you $162 a year currently and the average ASIC miner lasts 3-5 years. It is like greed blinds you all to reality. Do basic math. If you think the coin is going to go up buy them it is only a penny a coin instead of doubling your electric bill and praying the coin goes up so you can make your money back.
I am new to mining and I am figuring it out. Just like a lot of people on this forum. If VoskCoin does not want his forum to become another scalping Ebay and have his new members prayed upon he should stop this. He is the one who got me into mining.

So far there are few who want to be the price police. Its called just ignore the posting and move on. When there is a buyer at a certain price, then you have a sale. If no one wants to buy you are too high perhaps and maybe that seller will come down.

Besides, there is also negotiations process. Smart people will DM a seller and put worth the statement… " look JOHN DOE, the goldshell is at $800 and you are at $1200, lets meet at $1000 shipped and get this done today " There is no reason for a seller to negotiate in the open forum area. Take it to DM to get better results.

I am not the price police. I don’t care what you pay for your miner. If you want to pay it is your decision. I just want new members to put some more thought into their decision about what they are buying and I don’t think this forum should be used for scalpers taking advantage of those of us who are new to mining. I thought this forum was better than Ebay but I guess not.

This forum is a great place for people to learn, get ideas, ask questions, and help each other out… It is not just about selling equipment. If you’re looking to purchase any equipment, checkout the vosk discord, there is a buy/sell page over there. If you think eBay is better, then go to ebay.
