it the beginning (5 years ago) there was a nvidia work/gaming computer using the gpu to mine SETI data when I wasn’t using it for other activities. Then came Miner gate 2017 and haven’t looked back.
Back in 2017 it was a conversation topic to explain how I converted 25 cents of electricity to 25 cents of an alt coin. I had Monero, Etherium, BTC and a few others. back in 2019 I started taking mining seriously and added 2 innosilicon A9’s and 2 antminer l3+ and realized wow, if I add enough of these I can supplement my social security income. The big drawback was cost. Fast forward to October 2021 Decided to pull the trigger and expand the farm to produce some serious income
Maxed out a couple of cards and today 11 asic running in the shop making about 60/day in gross revenue.
