I’ve have a software background and have no problem understanding how ASIC works, what I need is exposure to what’s out there and how it’s being used so I can apply it to my project.

Recent regulatory activities here in Ontario Canada have peaked my interest in Litecoin, it’s one out of a handful of coins where the securities commission have not imposed any selling or purchasing limits for small investors like myself. So currently this the coin getting my attention.

I’d like to be able to mine this coin without attaching to the grid, in fact I am thinking in terms of a completely mobile operation (on wheels).

I only speculate when saying that in the energy equation solar may not yield significantly higher returns for miners, in that vein and while I pursue this solar fantasy, I’ll initially strive for reasonable acquisition costs while focusing on 24/7 mobile operation.
