12/24/2021 – Update on KDA Pool / Hashrate situation

PoolFlare – 74% of Network Hashrate

Dxpool – 20% of Network Hashrate

  • Servers based in Japan

F2pool – 6% of Netork Hashrate

Hashpool – 0.5% of Network Hashrate

  • Servers based in Hong Kong and Singapore
    • Known rejection rates
      • USA – 1-6% (KD Boxes)(Firmware version 2.1.1 may be best. Still gathering information)
        * KD5’s with firmware 2.1.6 have high rejection ratings
      • EU – 2%

Mine Solo

Miners, please consider mining solo or spreading your miners equally among available pools. You will get a nice average profit, help make pools run more efficient, and keep KDA more secure by decentralizing KDA.

FYI, I made the following changes to above post,

F2pool

F2pool is working, but only works with non k address for payout.

Talking with another miner, he is making roughly 1.15 to 1.25 KDA per day on F2pool. (1 KD box)

What are miners getting from mining solo?

Kadena’s Discord is the place to go if you’re wanting to try going solo. Tons of people doing it there and having good results. Plus, if you have any questions, there are tons of people with knowledge to ask.

Updated the Mine Solo section with links with Tutorials, active community doing solo mining, and GitHub files. Solo Mining looks very promising to solving KDA centralized mining issue, while allowing miners to not take a hit on profits!
