220v 20 amp power strip/splitter for Antminer's?

I have a 220v 20amp wall receptacle that I will use to power an Antminer which draws 3400 watts. However, the Antminer ASIC requires you to use 2 power cord receptacles. Does anyone have a recommendation on a power strip/splitter that I can plug into my 220v 20amp wall receptacle so I can plug both Antminer power plugs into it?

I don’t think I would need an expensive PDU, but maybe I do?

I wouldn’t cheap out on the supplies. You are running a machine that’s meant to run inside warehouses. These are power hungry machines. Try searching for a good deal on ebay. These pdu will always be in demand, even in the future if you decide to sell them.

I have no clue what your wall 220V is… if it is like my air compressor in my shop. then this works

Thanks @Miner388 ! My wall receptacle is a NEMA 5 20R so I would need something different than what you have listed but this is basically what I’m looking for.

Thanks @cryptominernv ! Do you have a recommendation on a PDU? I found several on eBay and other sites but there are a ton to choose from and it’s kinda confusing. I’m new to this so here comes a rookie question…Do you need to purchase the power cord separately for PDU’s or do the come with the cord to plug into the wall?

I would recommend considering your power service provider for the number of times there is outages, surges and prolong sags. A PDU or UPS would be cheap insurance for such an expensive investment. Happy New Year!

Thank you to all who have responded to my thread! That being said, can someone please recommend a specific PDU that they have used and are happy with it. I am looking to for a PDU that will service a single ASIC miner which has 2 plugs (damn Antminer with their 2 plug system, lol) running on a 220v 20 amp outlet.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Thanks @cryptominernv ! Anyone else have a recommendation? It needs to plug into a NEMA 5-20R receptacle. In other words, I need the plug on the PDU to be a NEMA 5-20P. I did find this one https://www.tripplite.com/1.6-3.8kw-single-phase-basic-pdu-100-240v-12-c13-2-c19-c20-c14-l6-20p-l5-20p-5-20p-5-15p-1u~PDUNV

I’m no electrician, but I believe the 5 20p and 5 20r is normally for a 120v 20A, not 220v. Not sure if I’m 100% correct on that, maybe someone with more knowledge can add to this.

You’re correct. 5-20 or 5-30 etc are 120V. 6-20, 6-30 etc are 240V.

@Zilina and @Chsear11 …Good morning and thanks for your input on my thread. I went out to my shop this morning and measured the voltage on my 5 20R outlet and it measured right at 240v. Below is a picture of my outlet to make sure I’m not confusing it with something other than5 20R. This is a 5 20 R, right?

No, that is a 6-20 r. Google the 5 and the 6 and you will see the difference.
