Considering a 5700xt anybody have any ideas/suggestions? apparently, you can flash a 5700 to a 5700xt bios and get the same hashrate. Anybody here tried it? is it easy to do with the hiveos flashing tool?
at this point unless your running an industrial scale operation and tweaking those cards all the way i wouldn’t buy a 5700. they use a lot of electricity and get hot. unless your getting it under 150 new or under 100 used i would just stick with a newer card. you could get a 3060ti for like 350$ earns about the same (slightly more). and uses way less electricity and lots less heat.
Heat isn’t a huge issue, but electricity is definitely something to consider. Any other ideas for something around (ish) the same price point?
