I’m trying to find out if there is any hardware difference between the 180T and 200T versions of the Antminer S21, or if the same hardware is simply overclocked.
If it’s overclocked, I’d go for the 180T version and swap the controler for an epic umc, that would come down to the same price as the 200T at altairtech.io.
If there is a hardware difference then maybe it’s worth it to go with 200T and epic umc?
Cant see specifically the 180T, but Luxors article here says 108 for the 200T, I think if you emailed altair and asked they would tell you the difference between models, if its the same chip count but different frequency https://hashrateindex.com/blog/content/files/2024/02/S21_Review-2.pdf
I’ll ask them, thank you. It makes sense it’s just different frequencies on the same chips for the same model with different hashrates.
