Beginner needs crypto mining advice

I’m a complete beginner. I’ve followed crypo over the past few years but I don’t know where to begin I’d much rather mine than just buy ass an asset but Idk if I’ve even enough to get started.

I’m in the UK so I’ve only about 3k max to invest or to get me started

I’d appreciate any and all advice on what I should be looked at and getting started on a budget. Is it feasible?

Thanks Shaun

What is your electric rate? Go to asicminervalue.com and plug in your electric rate in the bottom and see what miners would be profitable for you.

Your uk I highly doubt you can home mine because of your kw rate I’d say if your under .12 your good to mine at home if not I’d say best bet is just buy coin

Hi Shaun I am in the uk also bought myself a mini doge( Lite coin/Doge coin) and a KD box pro about 230 watt each …I pay 32p KWh so basically for a month the 2 miners are costing £115 to run and make a profit of about £35 so I have turned them off and buying some Kadena until the crypto price rises a fair bit then I will start mining again….Hope this helps.

Hey Shaun unless you can generate your own electricity cheaply I would strongly suggest you get what ever miners you buy hosted at a location where electricity is cheap. Another thing you can look at is some miners produce a lot of heat, you can air duct this heat into your home to heat your home which could eliminate the electricity bill of heating your home.

I’m just looking and running a L7 (which I run) if you have electric rate of 32p/kwh as stated above you would lose 5 pounds a day. I know others in the east do this to heat their home but they also have real cheap electricity. I use my L7 to help my seedlings grow in my garage at the moment. But if youre paying 0.32p/kwh I dont theres any profitable miners out there
