I have a S19 pro and a transformer I live in the US, my transformer has 3 US plugs 110-120v and 3 EU plugs 220-240v and when I use the US plugs nothing the S19 doesn’t turn on but when I use the EU plugs the machine turns on but my circuit breaker trips how can I solve this
im going to assume then that the transformer is a converter. so it may work for something using a small amount of power like a fan. but you always need 30 amps. also if your circuit is maxed out regardless it would trip the breaker so you may need to figure out what else is connected and if it can be moved.
ps im not an electrician, there may be someone else here with better knowledge on this.
Tell us what the make and model of transformer is. I don’t think it’s going to be the best way to get 240V in the US. Go look for the Vosk video on power from ages back - its still relevant for US miners. Even if you had a transformer capable of delivering 3000W @ 240V, which is about 12Amps, when you try to get that from a 120V circuit you will double the amps. I don’t think it’s likely you will have a 30A 120V plug to put the transformer in to. So you’ll hopefully blow the breakers before you burn the house down.
