If you were to have 400 plus miners drop in your lap and you had no mining experience where would you start?

If they were gpu mining rigs they are easier to start making money. I used nicehash because was simple, once you are used to it can look at other places that don’t have as high of fees. If asic it all depends on your power supply, it depends on which coin they are mining, some pools are for specific coins and some have different features, find what is best for you. Also in another recent thread vosk talks about electrical, so would be good for you to watch, very informative

Thanks for your reply I know I’ve not given a lot of details as this is just hitting me. I saw that video it was really good. We’ve got the more than enough power coming to the building. I’m not sure the type of miners just yet, but if they’re all asic miners would I need to join a pool?

I joined a pool with mine, there are different options in each pool, if they are all btc asic miners you can have them all in one pool. I have 2 lbc asic miners right now, they are in the same pool. I can pull them up on my phone through the pool app and see how each miner is doing, and it tells me the profit of that coin for both of them combined. So with 400, if they were all one coin miner, or even multiple types, you could see all of them and the profits of each coin. You can check each pool, there are several to choose from, depending on what all you have, you may be able to put them all in one pool.

I think you have to join a pool with asic miners, but not 100% sure.

First, please share how you came into 400 miners!

Second, you could mine solo and have them all in the same solo pool.

Your biggest issue might be hooking them all up to the ethernet. 400 units if they are all a asic miners would require 400 ethernet ports

Does Vosk have any videos about pools specifically? I’ve got a rough understanding, basically enough to know that you can get screwed ha!

If you type in pools in search for his YouTube videos it might come up. In most of his reviews of specific miners he talks about the pools he uses for them. Not sure if he has one on all of the pools in one video.
