I just purchased an S15 pro and it has two plugins on the power supply. Do I need two power cords and do I need to plug both in? They said it has been modified S15 Pro - 32TH/s at 1750W . New at this and lost.
Are you okay now ?
Compassmining has the best price iāve seen atm
@VoskCoin recommends Compass Mining all the time, besides them I recommend you dont get scammed with these fly by knights posting in forums saying they have products which they dont have. Seems like every week some new person gets scammed.
Where located ? Iām near ft dix
how are you liking your 1166 Pro? Still a good investment? I"m planning on buying a bunch direct from the manufacturer Canaan.io and just wanted some feedback from people who bought it.
@PlanetKing my 1166 has had a couple of bouts of being off-line. I do not know if it is due to some failure in the miner itself or something the hosting company did or did not do? I read on this forum after I bought it that Avalons are not as reliable as Bitmain. I do not have a Bitmain so I can not compare the two over the same time period using the same hosting company.
Lately my miner is returning around 0.003 BTC/day. Rewards have been trailing but that is to be expected as number of miners increase and difficulty goes up. I am currently pooling with Slushpool.
Hope this is what you are looking for? Anything more just ask. Cheers.
you can order from Newegg or Amazon and most will ship worldwide.
Likewise, I have some Avalon miners down and have boycotted them.
After tests with several thousands of them, A1166 and A1246 are honestly just not reliable.
The S19ās work far better
Iām not sure if you would like to go with bitcoin mining but there are lots of other options to choose on the market, I like goldshell miners, specifically their box units with WiFi, they are small and quite and has WiFi.
All you have to do is to set up and place in the area with socket and WiFi.
Iāve bought my goldshell boxes few times from www.asicminershub.com and was impressed with service. They also declared low value on package when sending as per my request, so my custom taxes were very minimal.
I am using Powerline Internet repeater from TP link for my other boxes, works wonders, no problem at all.
A lot of it was hash board failures to be honest. You try to service it yourself, you then void the warranty.
I donāt even sell Avalon miners myself because I donāt want to deal with all of the returns, way too hassle some. This was tested on 1000s of miners by the way, far too many Avalonās need servicing.
The last reliable unit was the 1066.
If you want to get some Whatsminers or S19ās hit me up, I can do them for a good rate.
Well, speak of the devilā¦ my miner is down again. Has been since Friday. I donāt know if this is a problem with the miner itself or with the hosting company Mining Syndicate? Getting real tired with this as it seems to occur about every two weeks. They donāt seem to catch it themselves as I always have to drop them an email to get it back up.
That would be unacceptable for me. What is the rate you pay them? Iāll be hosting at my building once I get a service upgrade and reach 50KW of Asics. Iām considering .085/kWh for hosting. I need to do more research to figure out a good hosting contract.
@AdamMoyers $0.12/kwh. Comes to just shy of $300.00 per month. Host is in the Dallas area. I donāt know if the problem is with the miner or the host at this point? But they do not seem to be around on weekends. My electricity costs are about $0.32/kwh and it would not be profitable running it at home.
I am supposed to get solar installed in the next few months and may have them ship the miner to me if they, Mining Syndicate, are the problem. Miner is still under warranty so if thatās the problem Iāll keep it there so they can fix it. After that??? Maybe Iāll buy another boat and use it as an anchor.
