Can anyone help me with my recent purchase?

I got my LT6 today (which has 3200w) from goldshell but i did not find a PSU with 3200w, can someone recommend me one?i can’t find anywhere for one and im afraid maybe I’m wrong and i might need a different psu? I know it translates to about 14.5 amps, Can I run it on a 220v wall electricity and how do I make it to run 80% efficiency? Thanks the helpers!

I thought the 6 series came with PSU included, don’t they?

LT6 has it onw PSU. Are you looking for a PDU?

Is it built in?

Hi Duckcity
You just need a 220-40 V power cord the PSU is builtin. You must have it plugged into 20 amp socket not 14.5amps thats on the borderline that’s only 3480 Watts because you will be running the LT 6 24/7 it will get hot and melt your wiring make sure its on 20-30 amp breaker and that power cord should have come with the miner if you bought it new hope this helps

Thank you for the answer friend!
Can you explain to me how to run it on 80% efficiency?

whatever ur max amp rating is . use only 80%max, if you have 100amps that u can use on 220v , try to use no more then 80amps

So how do I limit it?

You don’t limit the machine. Put it on a 20amp breaker and don’t use that circuit for anything else.

u dont have to do it either… its just SUGGESTED. i know people who have been running 20am pdu at 28 for months now… and my 30amp is pulling 28 and still cold… just keep it cool – heat kills

@MrMike1992

this last pic is mine . current draw!

So the higher the breaker amp the better right?

the better for the power company sure… calculate it roughly 1000watts for 10amps

so youd want to use 800wats instead / max on 220v that is… every ASIC will tell u what the power consumption is. and every PDU will tell you what its rated at…

Is it more efficient if I run it on 40 amp breaker for example? If I have 40 amps breaker does it mean I can put 2 of these machines on the same PDU? Or does it make it last efficient that way? Also do I need a PDU specifically for the amount of amps I have in the wall? And does it matter if the PDU is more then 220v? (the machine is 250v and the voltage in my country is 220v)

no diff effic. wise

if you were using 120v and then switched to 220v, yes that would just about cut the amp usage in half. but besides that . its just up to what u want to do

First of all how many machines you have and plan to run you cant just use
40 amp breaker and plug in 2 machines you need the right size cable as well.Just have your sockets on 20 amps and plug in just 1 miner not 2 you will BURN the house down. Also your main/sockets circuit must be a ring main with min cable size of 2.5mm .The machine rating usually 220-250 V so don’t worry about that as long as you don’t plug in to 450V .Check your in coming supply is it single phase or 3 phase take some pics post it here.

So far I only have one LT6 machine, I wanna get more in the future? Will I have to buy each machine I get another PDU? For example if I have 5 LT6’s do I have to get a PDU for each machine and plug in in different circuits? Or is there another way?

thank all of you so much for all your help and please try to specify as much as you can because I could use any information I can

What are your goals? How do you plan to grow? What asic’s and what wattage for each?

If you are wanting to get more machines down the line, prepare for that now. It sucks to have $30k+ of Asics staring at you while you are waiting to get electrical/internet, etc installed.
