I have 3 brand new S21XP I was trying to upload braiins OS on them and they say I have to purchase it $700 per machine and then a almost $6000 fee on top all refundable they said. Does this sound right?
Mate I’m pretty sure braiins has a dev fee and there’s no upfront fees. They just take a small % of your hashrate. It sounds like you’re talking to a scammer. Can you give the website that you found them on? Ask yourself why would you have to pay $6k that’s refundable? It makes no sense. I would cut off all contact, they will try to justify their reasons and say anything.

Mate even if it’s legit tell them to get fucked, that’s an insane amount of money. Use LuxOS commander and you can install it yourself without an SD card, and you can choose, they have auto tuner and pre set profiles and custom profiles, it’s basically exactly the same as braiins without spending a fortune that they’re telling you to do

Damn, and Lux wants to charge up front for installation? What a stitch up. I don’t have an S21 gen miner but I thought you can also set a power/hashrate target through Bitmain OS? Surely the money they are asking for is not worth it even in the long term when the OS will eventually be made free? That’s just my opinion but I still cant get my head around why they would want $6k up front when you’re trying to buy their $700 software.
Luxor wasn’t charging but it wouldn’t work for the newest version of the miner

Sucks, they’re is no phone number cause this could be fixed in 5 to 10 minutes over the phone versus days and or weeks through emails if they even fix it at all.
