I’m new here and to cryptocurrency. I decided to get into crypto as a small hobby because it seems fun and exciting to me. I was wondering about the wallets, I was told you can do paper wallets, offline wallets, hardware wallets and a host of other wallets but my main question is if I create an offline wallet without funds could I use it as a deposit wallet and while still keeping it offline?
yes, if you install a wallet like Exodus on a laptop and only connect every now and then to update the chain(s), then it is essentially a hardware wallet. Don’t put everything into one wallet though.
I use Exodus https://www.exodus.io/, ZelCore and Atomic. Some coins require their own wallet.
