Deeper Network setting up the wallet and start mining

I’m setting up my account on the Deeper Network. Trying to figure out how to buy DPR to start mining. First, what do I buy and how much do I need to start mining second, I’m getting the following message:

you’ll need to be placed on the Deeper Chain before you can activate mining.

How do I get placed on the Deeper Chain before you can activate mining? As you can tell I’m new to this. please baby steps.
