Cheaper source of financing would be home equity loan. I’d be loathe to recommend financing a rapidly depreciating asset (ASIC) with a 2nd lien secured loan on what is likely to be a person’s most valuable asset. Let’s face it, depreciation is fierce on any ASIC miners. In finance, it’s called a duration mismatch, i.e. one would be financing short-term assets with long-term debt.
