Does daily on / off cycling hurt an ASIC miner?

Hello everyone. I will be purchasing my first 220v miner (looking at the L7) to run at my office. I will probably only run it during the off hours when I am not there. Does turning an ASIC on and off each day hurt the miner in any way?? Thanks for the help…

Not ideal, but not the worst thing

If you do that. I would recommend that you unplug the Ethernet cord first. Then wait a few minutes before you switch the power off.

This allows for the heat sinks to cool down. And for the fans to blow the hot air away until it is cool. As once the mine is offline, it creates less heat.

What above said Or put it in sleep mode if available and let it ramp down before unplugging.

I would not recommend just unplugging it when it is hot daily.

This is a suggestion from Bitmain.
If you must turn off the power, keep these two things in mind:
Do not turn off the miner in a high humidity environment as it will generate a lot of heat. After the miner is turned off, the temperature will drop due to condensation and humidity, which will corrode the circuit for a long time.
Do not turn off the main circuit breaker directly, and cut off the power one by one in sequence. Due to the high power of the miner, a batch power failure will cause an instantaneous impact of voltage surge and damage the miner.
