Any word on when they are going to shut down ETH mining?
between now and 2 years.
Appreciate it. Saw same timeline too. Just makes sense to mine ETH to the very end if you believe in it. Feel like there is a lull in all aspects of mining and now is a last good time to buy in. Good luck.
We will see what happens over the course of the next 2 years. There are still plenty of other mineable currencies. Ethereum has over 200 TH on the network. That is an absolutely incredible amount of processing power. That computing power is bound to find a use in other coins or something else entirely.
Either, like, really really soon, or like…never.
