which one is better for running multiple asic miners looking to have 10 -15 miners running

I’m currently using 2 of these so far so good and have had excellent results

Get an unmanaged switch

how many miners do you have hooked up currently? and any issues?

Miners do not take much bandwidth. Gigabit switches are far more than needed

is the one you linked wifi hook up only ? and if so does it slow down the rest of your house ?

I have 1gb internet speed at my house now to make sure I can still play games and watch Netflix so that’s good to hear. still feels like a lot of into to send over wifi would a hard line not be more efficient or is it such a low amount it really doesn’t matter ?

Hey do not send much at all, you won’t even know they are connected

Plus the switch into you internet router, plug the miner in and forget about it.

Electricity is what you should look at. You will need 200amp device to run 15 miners. Most residential service is only 200amp. Also the heat and noise will be quite high. And the investment for the miners would be at least $150k

I would suggest doing research and maybe start with a mini miner. Your plan is not feasible

I have the electric covered did a ton of research into that part was just a little iffy on the internet part of it I have a small background in electric so that comes easy to me. I’m kinda internet dumb when is comes to Infrastructure

I’ve been planning this setup for about 5 or 6 months now just over looked being able to plug 15 ethernet cables in. I knew there was a way just didn’t know the best way

We’ll then, by your question I didn’t think you would have 200 amp service in your garage lol

Just get any 16 port unmanaged switch. It’s plug and play.

What are you doing for sound and ventilation?

looking at trying a couple different options. gunna start with with nosie canceling wall panels. that’s my office which is on the other side of the house from the bedrooms. if I need to I gunna put in the build shapes that cancel sound but want to hold off to make sure it’s needed or not

Great, keep us posted
