Just a heads-up, I have an order stuck in Anchorage, Alaska. FedEx is the shipper (International Priority). My package was delayed a couple days in China and now FedEx does not have the needed personnel and planes at their hub in Anchorage. Apparently this has been an ongoing issue for several weeks.
I contacted Fedex today and they are dealing with staff shortages and Covid issues (staff called-in sick).
Now instead of marking packages delayed, they are just putting them in a transit status but the packages go nowhere.
On a positive note, DHL from my experience has not been delayed and they are shipping from China to LAX with express deliveries to California in 2-3 days. So if you can, ask for DHL shipping. I received a package today (1-20-2022) from DHL with an estimated original delivery date of 01-24-2022, 4 days early.
