I am seeing a number of ads on CL and FB Marketplace for free Helium Miners. What is the scam here?? Vosk, I know you are bullish on Helium.

Would bet they have more miners than locations and are looking for places to put them. They’d retain the ownership and you’d get a percentage of the profits for letting them use your home.
I use Emrit if you want a link. They haven’t had their shit together for awhile now. Many people missing payments but they did send the miner in less then a week to me. Payments are 20% to the host not much at all when all said and done. You can send back the miner anytime. They have been quick to respond in discord but again haven’t had things together not very slow to fix problems. Ihub is another as well as fair spot. Ihub im iffy on. they tend to want to sell anything they can to you to help them Make money. Fair spot has the best split but they never have miners in stock and hard to reach. Also if you already have a miner at that location the other company’s will not let you host for them as well.
This may be a variation of the craigslist.com Scam, whereby they want your Email address in order to hack you by taking address, name, in addition to your phone number which they already have if a post is available on craigslist.com when they contact you.
Craigslist.com gives you a masked alternative Email address when you post.
Do not give craigslist.com list contacts your personal Email and your personal information.
