Just got my shipping notification this morning so it looks like you were right. Oddly the two miners are shipping separately and have different tracking numbers. DHL to the US with delivery next Monday.

Got mine late last night, I’m waiting on Monday as well!

1st miner I ordered from dxpool showed up today, 5 days early from expected dhl delivery date (so that’s a bonus). Now just waiting on my power supply to get it up and running!

Having some issues with my CK Box. I just posted a new topic about it.

My miners came in today 4 days earlier than projected via DHL. Great experience with dxpool’s shop and a good price too. Highly recommended.

Same, I recommend them as well. Got my power supply in today and my 1st miner is officially up and running! I will purchase from them again in the future.

Still haven’t been able to get mine running. Don’t think it’s due to the vendor though. Contacted them and Goldshell and got the generic emails back. Still waiting for support to actually contact me.

Here’s my issue. I turn on the PSU and the miner goes through the initial surge cycle, the Ethernet LEDs are yellow and green, the IP LED is flashing red and the power LED is green. Then after the initial cycle the power LED goes red. I lose contact with the miner. I’ve tried direct into the router and the network switch. I’ve tried resetting it and I’ve switched cables for the PSU. I also tested the PSU on a PC. During the time when the light is green I can go into the IP address, but I don’t have enough time to update the firmware before it goes offline. I don’t have enough time to even change the pool information.

is this a wifi version?

Yes it is a WiFi version.

Wifi becomes unavailable as well once the power LED goes red

The first thing I would have thought was power, but you already checked your psu. Are there multiple things connected to your psu? Maybe try a different pcie connection port on your psu. It sucks you can’t get the firmware done before it shuts down, could be that or a hardware issue. Do these boxes have an overheat shutoff protection? Or maybe an issue with the fans that will shut it down?

I’ve tried multiple spots on the switch and router. I’ve tried multiple 6+2 connectors and ports. It’s in a room that’s at about 62F.

Sounds like you’ve done everything. I guess it’s the waiting game now for goldshell to warranty it. Let us know what they say and how the process goes please.

Have you tried connecting directly to your goldshell network via wifi? It took me almost 6 hours to figure out how to set up my kdbox after realizing mine was the wifi version. The steps were completely different from what we were used to.

I have, but the wifi goes down as soon as the power LED goes red.

Can’t tell if it’s just a firmware issue or if I need a new board

Ok, i think I might have figure this one out. I was experiencing the same problem as you on my very last kd box set up just couple minutes ago. I’ll write it step by step for easy understanding. I hope this helps. Let me know if it worked for you or not.

  1. Go to your wifi network and connect to your goldshell box (KD,CK, or what ever you see on your network). You will be immediately disconnected from your wifi network.
  2. Type 192.168.0.1
  3. Access your portal and change the language to English
  4. Unlock your BOX
  5. Go to systems and look for your wifi that you use everyday and connect.
  6. Type in your wifi network password
  7. Now the BOX should disconnect itself and immediately connect to your own network
  8. Now go to find.goldshell.com and locate your miner. click on the little hex on the right
  9. This should immediately take you to your personal goldshell dashboard
  10. Now go add your pool information and save it!

That’s it! This is how I was able to fix the problem you are facing now. I hope this helps!

PS. I was able to connect to 192.168.0.1 even though the internet showed NO CONNECTION. Give it a shot

Super grateful for your advice. I gave it a try and it works! I’m finally up and running!

Goldshell should definitely have this in a tutorial.

They kind of do. The second half of this setup document covers how to configure the Wi-Fi boxes without Ethernet. I love my Wi-Fi enabled miners. I’m glad you got it up and running.
Nice directions @cryptominernv

Glad I was able to help. Cheers!

After almost 6 weeks I finally got my miner…
The first shipping was legit but FEDEX fucked it up and sent it to the wrong country.
Dxpool did send a new one that arrived today, sadly it does not seem to work…
Or maybe it is just me who can’t figure it out…

I’ve got the following indicators:

At startup:
Above ethernet-cable: Steady green and blinking orange
Above power-cable: Steady green
Top of miner: Blinking red

All that seems fine but after running for about 30 sec the following indicators show:
Above ethernet-cable: Steady green and blinking orange
Above power-cable: Steady red
Top of miner: Blinking red

Do anyone of you know what the problem is? I’ve tried to start it over a few times but the same problem accure…

I just saw the guide up in the thread, thank you! Everything is working fine
