So I just received this miner directly from Goldshell today. Not my first time getting machines from them but this one appears to be a little beat up. It had that nice new smell when you first turn it on and it is working correctly but thought this was a bit strange that it has these scratches. I’m hoping this is a fluke and not something we are to start seeing from them. Wanted to see if anyone else has had recent issues.

Maybe a clumsy handler while testing/packaging? Just curious, since you ordered from them direct, what were the tariffs (assuming you’re in the US)?
I used $250.00 on a $910.00 machine and even on previous orders I used that same amount and never had any issues.

No worries, here to help fellow miners. Yea you can choose what you want during checkout. The higher amount you declare you can get stuck paying taxes on but also if you don’t declare the exact amount of your purchase and customs decides to hold your package (rarely happens), the only way your getting it is if you pay them the amount they say. Otherwise you don’t get it and your out the machine. I may not have this exactly correct but enough to give you the idea of how it works.
