GoldShell KD2 Website Scam?

Hey,
I was just wondering weather or not buying the GoldShell KD2 from this website is a scam or not

Thanks

If it’s too good to be true then it’s probably so. I think it’s the super low price that makes it the dead giveaway. We all want sellers to be legit and make asic miners more available to those without deep pockets but unfortunately too often that’s not how it is.

It’s a scam, my friend

Thanks for the feedback but now I don’t know what to do because I can’t find it anywhere else

Thanks

but the website is also a trusted website from a lot of people so I don’t know what to do

That’s the dilemma that a lot of us face- no inventory or delayed shipment. It’s definitely not a buyer’s market right now

Do your research and go with your gut. This is the risk that us miners face. I’d say hold off on this site

Just for info used KD2 is selling above 21 kUSD
So if they offer it for price on the web it is most likely scam.

A rig producing $64/day before electricity isn’t going to be selling for $2700. That’s not even a 6 week breakeven. Most resellers seem to price for a 10-12 month breakeven at current price trends. That’d theoretically put a KD2 in the $19.5k-$23.3k range, and I’ve seen them on reseller sites at $25k as it takes a while for resellers to adjust ASIC rig prices to factor in crypto price declines.

It’s a scam. My price for reference $23,799 Goldshell KD2. They’re selling them for more than 20k less.

@Sebas The web site is not a trusted web site. It is a scam site meant to look like it’s associated with Innosilicon. It is not. Send your crypto there and you might as well kiss it goodbye.

Every miner on that site has an absurdly low price meant to lure in the newbs desperate to get their hands on some rigs, any rigs, in a market with constrained supply. E.g., $1.2k for a KD2, $3k for a KD5, or $800 for a D7, or $3.5k for an A11 Pro . . . I could go on.

Be careful. There are no shortcuts or crazy “deals” to be had. The best deals are if you can buy directly from the manufacturers such as Bitmain or Goldshell - and make sure you are buying from the genuine web site. Next best option is a trusted reseller. But always assume scam unless you can prove otherwise. Unfortunately, that’s simply the nature of the business for small timers right now.
