Good news for LTC

I got a notification from LTC about getting their MWEB upgrade. From my understanding this is a major upgrade in it’s next step and will benefit miners of LTC. I am curious if this will be a buy the rumor sell the news kind of event like how Cardano did during it’s rapid upgrade stages or of we can get a new higher support level from this news. I’ll post and past the articles for you reading.

  • MWEB is set to be the largest upgrade to the Litecoin network ever, promising to provide fungibility for all, while improving LTC’s scalability. Due to the size of the change, it has been in progress for 2 years now, but the end is in sight! This timeline provides our best estimates for when the final steps will take place, but please keep in mind that everything is subject to change.

I don’t know if LTC will rise in value from this upgrade. 2021 was the year of the defi and so much money had flown into many layer 1 protocols.

In my opinion, people completely forgot what LTC is capable of. I personally don’t hold any LTC, but i think it perform well on the next bull run. We can’t forget the fact that many big corporations take payments via LTC. If it had no use case, they wouldn’t use it.

I think the primary use case is the fact you can’t send thousands for pennies!! One of the cheapest peer to peer payment fees around. Welcome back NV. :v:t3:

You are absolutely correct NV it is a solid platform for transactions which I believe will keep the stability where needs to be for a reliable mining experience. But I like yourself don’t hold LTC I typically get paid out in BTC while mining LTC. I just find the stability about LTC the most attractive.

Litecoin is working on a privacy option. I regret not grabbing Drew’s first LTC / Doge gold shell edition when he first dropped it.

Just made a few Mweb addresses and sent some LTC to them and then to another address after just to test and see how it works. Im not a crypto pro but I tried back tracking the transactions and following the addresses to see how it conceals the payment size, and I always ended up at addresses that had received/sent exactly 841.42 litecoin. Does anyone know if this is correct and thats how it hides the transaction sizes? many thanks
