I got a Antminer S19 XP and I thought being in the basement would be ideal since it is away from everything. But I can hear it through the walls and floor. I knew it would be loud but I didn’t think it would as noticeable as it is. I am considering getting a Lite Sound Box but wonder if hosting might not be a better option. I went over to Compass and they say they are not currently onboarding miners that are not bought from them. Is there a magic solution for the sound and heat. Anyone using a hosting service they like?

I second badgers idea, ive now got mine hooked up to an 8 inch fan that’s a max of 60DB and it’s 730 CFM. I think you need at least 530 CFM fan, and if you duct the air out then it’s even quieter, and then chuck dust filter on it to keep it clean. You will need fan spoofers but that could void your warranty, and while mine is 60DB/730cfm there’s others that’s 800 cfm/45db (I think) but was hard to get shipped to aus so I went with the other. Just make sure you don’t put screws in the fan spot touching the hashboards I think I saw someone do that on YouTube and it caught on fire good luck
