It cost 35 cents to vote. That’s currently a month’s earnings on my miner.

well someones gotta show the network is actually being used 
HIPs are a waste of time. And everyone is dumb enough to vote “Yes” on each one. Helium mining is not what it use to be. I use to earn 0.65-0.70 HNT a day, now I’m down to 0.15 daily. But nothing has changed with my setup and there hasn’t been a new hotspots setup in my area in a year, nor has anyone taken theirs offline. Nothing has changed geographically yet I’m only making a fraction of what I use to make. It’s nearly pointless. It certainly doesn’t help that HNT’s value has been steadily trending at very low levels
Have to remember that we’re in a bear market… hence HNT trending downward… But I get the negative feeling on helium recently… But hold in there, HODL works!
The market has little to do with my point. In volume sense, mining HNT is not as profitable due to network adjustments and past HIPs that have been initiated. I could easily make over 1/2 of one HNT a day with one hotspot but not anymore
