Helium on Wi-Fi Importance?

Hey guys and gals! I’ve currently got 2 bobcats with 3 more on the way, and I’ve got some family members and friends I plan to deploy these puppies at. I’m not confident I can run an ethernet cable at every location, so wi-fi will have to do. In exchange for letting me place my miners, I’m considering buying them either a mesh wifi system, or using a whole house ethernet through electrical outlet system that vosk mentions for his garage setup.

What have you guys used that has worked well?

My concern is that if the wi-fi signal drops or is too weak that it will de-sync the hotspot from the network, so buying them a one-time permanent upgrade seems to be a mutually beneficial option.

No one can judge your Wifi and how it reacts for you. I have a Miner on WiFi and it has not failed. The way the sync works is IF it does fall behind it is only a short amount of time it can catch back up. You dont have to reboot or fast sync discovery just to get the blockchain back in sync with the unit.

Ethernet is always first choice if you can, but, Wifi can work too.

I had the wifi completely fail on my syncrobit
I now use a wifi extender with Ethernet port
I have the miner outside on my balcony
