I would like to add more ethernet ports to my “Now TV Hub 2”, would a “TP-LINK TL-SG1008D” (Used) be sufficient for this purpose? (to allow me to add more ASICS)

Bandwidth isn’t the issue with mining it is about stability so check for reviews on the stability of the device and if what you have now has worked Id say that is an improvement and you can expect same or better performance.

The switch itself is sufficient. As long as you have a reliable internet connection and don’t over complicate things with you network, you’ll be fine.
