Hey all, bought a new HNT Bobcat miner, out of the box, plugged in went through the hook up process and it recognizes the miner as it starts to connect it gets kicked with no reason for error, just says Error.
Seeing if this is common or any suggestions.
I don’t know if bobcat miners are supported anymore. There were a bunch that went broke a while back. Nebra made a new open OS that can be flashed onto devices that aren’t supported anymore.
Check the Helium Discord. If they aren’t supported, you might have to pay the $50 onboarding fee yourself. The manufacturer is supposed to pay that but if they don’t exist that wallet might be empty. I had to pay the fee when one of my Nebra’s failed onboarding as I did it wrong. Works fine after paying the fee.
I dont know much about the HNT miners but if you go to the CRANKK forum they use bobcat miners to mine it. Im sure someone there could help you out.
