Home miner cooling?

Hi, I have around 5 home / box Miners e.g. Mini Doge 2 and V1 Mini 300 etc etc

They are currently sitting on a chest of draws next to a window, with the “exhaust” fans facing towards the window…I am able to open one of these windows… i) On good days I can open this windows 30-40 degrees (Which is probably ok), i) on damper / wet days I may be only to openn it about 10 - 15 degrees (probably just about ok). It is a wooden older style of window, not double glasing… There is also a 1FT by 1FT window which I can leave open most of the time… 3) I feel the main problem I have is when I got out and need to close the big window due to security…

When I come back into the room after being out a few hours, there does seem to be a bit of a “wall of heat”…

I wondered how other people were cooling their home miners, that are possibly in a spare room? I’ve seen Drew talking about “box fans” etc - I feel they could be quite expensive t run?

I also wonder if people have some kind of temperature monitoring device to check the heat of the room? If so, a link would be great

Many thanks,

I’d just use a box fan and exhaust out of the window. That should do the trick. I’d see where that gets you and then try other things from there. A box fan will move a decent amount of air for what it is.

Cool. Would you (Or anyone else) have a link/s to a cheap appropriate fan? Thanks

Just walk into walmart, homedepot or lowes. No need to order one and give money to USPS or Amazon.
