Hosting site overclock without knowing

I have no reason to suspect this of my hosting site, but would it theoretically be possible for a site to overclock your ASIC and split the hash rate so that the expected (nonoverclocked) hash rate goes to your mining pool and the excess goes to their own mining pool?

And if it is possible, can you guys think of any way of figuring out whether it’s happening?

No, this Isn’t really possible, and definitely wouldn’t be practical. Most overclocked asics with typical power rates make less than stock, so if anything, they would try to undervolt/down clock it, and as long as you haven’t noticed a hshrate drop, everything should be fine
