Scam. They are, without a shred of doubt in my mind, certifiably full of shit. There is zero chance that they have an E9 here in the US and would be willing to sell it to you for $13.2k. At $190/day theoretical yield after crypto’s recent tumble, it’d break even in ~9 weeks or so. I get that it’s an ETH miner, but c’mon.
They’re also showing an L7 9.5 for $10.84k when every legit reseller seems to be asking $23k-$26k - if you can get one. At $10.84k and in the immortal words of Don Vito Corleone, “to what do I owe this . . . generosity?”
Fantastic Aaron! I’m in New York right now visiting my mother until December 13th, then I’m headed to Florida to visit some friends/investors and try to get them on this crazy crypto train with me. Hopefully we can do some business really soon. I don’t have to wait for the E9. I just like the idea of less equipment, less power and more money. I’ve been looking at the S19 Pro 110TH/s. and the S19-XP 140TH/s. Do you have these in stock or will you soon?
Aaron,
You said you run this business out of your house. Are you shipping everything from your house or are these shipping from manufacturer direct to customer?
Thanks
Edit: I see that you ship to the house/shop and test and ship.
That’s great! I’m open for suggestions. I was looking at the KD box,10 of those would be a pretty good setup. There are so many choices it’s making my brain hurt. I just want the best setup I can get. The only problem I see is the KD box only mines one coin and I’m not sure I like that. That’s why I like the E9, it can mine so many different coins which seems a little safer in the long run. What do you think?
My opinion, personally, is that Kadena is the most promising blockchain being developed. Ethereum on the other hand, I can’t say I see a future in it as a mineable algorithm. The developers of Kadena have made it clear that it will forever be a proof of work blockchain. Not to mention it has the backing of JP Morgan Chase.
For liability reasons I can’t outright recommend it, just as Vosk also has to disclaim “not financial advice”.
Hey Aaron, have you ever heard of Global Sources? I’m not sure if this is a scam site or not. They’ve got a ton of products on a pretty big website. It looks legit, but prices seem a little off. Let me know what you think brother, thanks. Patrick
@TahoeTrader Kd5’s MoQ of 1 (minimum order quantity) for $18,500 when they retail for near $65,000 to $75,000. Unfortunately I have to say its likely a scam.
Globalsources.com is much like Alibaba.com they are websites to connect you with suppliers. These sites don’t screen all sellers extensively, and many shady companies slip through the cracks. Also a common technique is to advertise a low price then hit you with a larger price when you inquire. However it’s very easy to get ripped off, without an agent in China there’s no way to properly vet the companies on here.
