LOL - tough love, but so true!!! I’m seeing more and more posts around here asking the same question over and over: what is the best miner to buy; what is the smartest crypto investment etc. This forum in a goldmine of knowledge, tips and tricks - all bundled together on one site! Getting into crypto is a huge learning curve, so buckle up and enjoy the adventure!

It’s not that I don’t know anything about crypto, I just don’t know about miners. I have done plenty of research and y do you think I’m on this site. It’s called research. I’m not gonna look at a random persons post and just go with what they say. I want to get an understanding of where others heads are at when it comes to miners and coins to mine

sounded like you’re asking a random person to tell you what to buy

If you’re just looking for the most profitable miner to buy, go for the Goldshell KD5. At the moment, that rig is making over $400/day - that’s absolutely insane. Talk about ROI, those numbers are uncontested right now, given the current state of the market which can obviously change from one day to the next.

People say to do your own research because this is something you have to decide for yourself.

Are you looking for a quick buck? Are you searching for a good coin/project to become a supporter of? Are you looking for a long term mining rig? Do you have the space, power, capital to get started with a top tier rig?
Remember, with great ROI/Profitability comes great levels of heat and loudness. There’s a lot more to it than just ROI and profitability, although that’s always important.

If I were looking for my first miner, I would start by giving myself a budget and deciding what features/attributes are important.
This should narrow it down to a handful of options, then I’d research the coin(s) I’d be mining with the remaining options and decide if the goal of that project is something I care about and would like to support. Again, that’s just me.

If none of this matters and you just want the most profitable rig out there right now, go for the goldshell KD5
