I just had my kadena coins disappear from my zelcore wallet. Has anyone else had this happen? How do I fix this? Please help

Has anyone heard of the Venden miner?

Hi Bradley
I got some missing coins with Zelcore you have to email support and get on the case.
I have been emailing them 2 weeks now still not sorted its just going back and forth. But make sure your wallet address for Kadena begins with k: otherwise you will not see any coins.

Thank you, I did verify the address and all the information on the backend programming. I hope it gets fixed, I turned off the auto deposit until the situation is fixed. Hope you are successful in getting your funds back.

Had the same issue last week.
There is nothing missing and nothing disappeared.
Go to your portfolio overview and the Kadena should still show. When you get into the Kadena slider, your value shows 0.
Inside the Kadena Wallet on the left side you see 3 drop down buttons (1 Account name, 2 kadena address, 3 Chain ID). Click on the second (Kadena address) and select the the one without the k in front. Your Kadena should show the correct amount now.

It simply means Zelcore implemented the new K: addresses, but your funds are still inside the old one.
You have to move your funds from the old address into the new k: one.
When opening Zelcore they now show the new k: by default, and since your funds are not in it yet, it seems to have disappeared.
There are instructions in Zelcore on how to move the funds into the new k: addresses.
Hope that helps.

And please come back and notify us if it worked out (or not). I’ve seen a lot of ppl trying to help others, but they never get a feedback. And every time someone else encounters the same issue, they don’t know whether or not the advice was good or not.
So try it out and please give a feedback. It will help others to quickly find solutions later on.
Thanks for reaching out.

verify on the blockchain

Is there any help on how to fill out that form? Just leave Chainweb Server default (api.chainweb.com)? Token name is KDA? Or Kadena? And is acocunt name my Kadena public key? Thanks.

Chainweb Server
Token Name
Account name

EDIT: I can see on Poolflare that there was payout on 20th x2 and this morning but Zelcore isn’t showing those 3 transactions yet. If I click on the link in Poolflare to open the block explorer I can see that the payout amounts are correct and that they went to my address. They just aren’t showing in Zelcore. I’m assuming some kind of displaying issue on Zelcore’s end and that my coins are safe. But I’d like to also learn how to use that chainweb link for balance checks too. Thanks.

I wish Binance would list soon, I’m buying mine in KuCoin but I’m not able to move what I’ve mined from DX Pool.

the fields are prefilled, just leave them as they are.
Server:: api.chainweb.com
TokenName coin (its called coin, because the smart contract between Zelcore and Kadena is called coin)
Account Name is either your priv key or the new form k: + your private key

It’s all described in the notification box as pictured above in my previous post.
Kadena transitions to a more secure k: account address form and Zelcore shows only the new form when opening. You can switch between the old and new accounts inside Zelcore and both should show up.
Exchanges switched also to the new form, that’s why they are no longer shown by default in Zelcore.

Test the coinchecker, it’s showing you on which Chain ID (0-19) your coins are.
Then you go into Zelcore and select the correct account and the correct chain id and it will show up.

I forgot to ask. When you open Zelcore wallet and go to portfolio and select list view. The correct amount of Kadena should show up, regardless of being on the old or new address form and regardless of the chain ID"s. Can you check this please ?

Yep it was showing the correct amount but it was just missing a few deposits under Transactions. They showed up the next day. Thanks. I do get a message that my non K: address on chain 1 isn’t owned by me. I don’t know if I can correct that but I only use the K: addresses anyway.

ok, great
