Hello, does anyone know what percentage the energy consumption is reduced when putting the asics in immersion?
I don’t have immersion but the power consumption reduction comes from the decrease in heat from miners which I’m sure you’re aware of judging by your post. What will make a difference is the dry cooler rating and the ambient temperature. I’m not exactly sure how well the rated dry coolers work (example is a 6kw dry cooler good enough for 2 X 3kw miners in all climates?) but the higher rating dry cooler to miners power consumption is going to help bring your miner power consumption down, such as a 12kw cooler to 6kw of miners. I’m not sure if the excess rating dry cooler will be beneficial or if your total combined power consumption would be the same. Hopefully someone like vosk who has immersion can clarify
