Interesting question about power compsumption

I have question ? If I use for example powersupply of 2000 watts , and I conect miner of 1000 watts , will I have comsuption of 2000 Watts or 1000 Watts?..

Never tested… And I do not have oversized power supply to test comsuption and mesure…

Did any body tested ?

Yes I just speak with my electrician … he is saying same 1000 watts…

You have about 25% to 30% capacity left on that power supply don’t go of 80% total.
