I have a 915 miner here in the US. I am being relocated for my job to the middle east. do I have to buy a new EU 868 miner or will my us 915 miner work?

No, you need the frequency for the area you are in. You can keep it for when you return or sell it and make some quick money, there is a lot of demand as I am sure you know.
