Hey guys, I’m getting a second kd5 and was wondering if this would be okay to use for both. I know 2250w x2 is still under 80% of double pole 30amp breaker. Just not sure about quality of these splitters.
Thanks for your time!

That looks like a good way to start a fire
I’ve just wired a 32a supply that will directly feed my pdu. I think a pdu and having it wired as per the standards is a small price to pay when you consider the cost of the mining kit. No fun to see your property and expensive mining kit go up in flames.
I agree here with a good way to start a fire.
A pdu is just going to be safer and better in the long run
Something happens to where they pull too much power and it will kick them off… that plug won’t do anything
Tripplite has 30amp pdus for like 200 bucks. Haven’t had a problem with any of them yet.
Agreed!! Even a generic model PDU will be safer than that. Be safe. Good luck
I have a few of these. Metal cases, metered, good quality and both C13 and C19.
Is there a remote wired or wireless version? To restart a down/confused miner?
Thanks for the help guys. PDU it is.
I have just purchased this bad boy which is hard wired Ethernet and I’m guessing you can remote switch it’s outlets. But you would need the right network kit to be able to dial into your network and of course the pdu. I don’t have a router capable of dishing into my network externally as of yet, but will let you know how I get on locally on my lab.
Tripp Lite PDU Single-Phase Switched 230V 32A 7.4kW 16 C13 Outlet IEC-309 Horizo
Yeah the price tag on that though…Euopeans have em for far less, just can’t get em in the states.
Also this would only be able to power 2 miners.
