Liquid cooled - Heat exchanger - use excess heat to warm house

First I want to thank vosk the man him self (you want the one who made me start mining)

I’ve been posting about this before, and I think it could be interesting for others to see/hear about my project-

We live in a relatively shifting climate(Denmark Scandinavia)

So about my project-

I’ve managed to hook my s19 Hyd up to our central heating system(we run on a heat pump (air to water)) and by that I’m able to harvest the excess heat from the miner.

I’m glad you’ve made a follow up post on this!

Are you able to please elaborate in further detail about how efficient your mining is, from memory a 158T S19 hydro? For example in previous years before mining do you have an estimate of power consumption from heating your home compared to now? Does the miner heat your home as good quality heat? Do you have a flat electric rate or did you make the most of your solar and off peak rates?

Thank you!

Very cool. Some additional details would be great!

First an upvote—more details would be awesome! This idea of reusing heat is, I think, crucial to the future of coin mining and computing in general. It’s exciting to see DIY solutions like this because they show how much potential there is to optimize energy use and tackle cooling issues. At Flux Cap Energy Tech (FCET), we’re exploring how to take heat reuse a step further by integrating power generation into the process—turning waste heat into usable energy.

I’d love to hear more about your setup and how it’s working for you. Are there any challenges or improvements you’re looking to make? And for anyone else who’s experimenting with similar systems, feel free to reach out—I’m always interested in sharing ideas and discussing how technology like ours might complement or enhance your current setup.

Looking forward to hearing more!
