Miner shows in Goldshell but not in F2Pool

This is my first miner. I can see it on Goldshell but it doesn’t show up on F2Pool. What am I doing wrong?

Open ended question. Tough to tell based on info that you provided. But I’ll offer up some basic guidance. I don’t use F2Pool anymore so I’m a bit rusty but here goes . . .

Once you login to F2Pool, go to top right and select the coin that you’ll be mining, e.g. LTC. Then go to top middle of page and click on “workers”. The workers page gives info on how to add new workers. Follow the example for your coin by adding new group on the left side of the page. Once you pick the pool URL and assign a worker name and password (if desired) and save it, you can then go to your Goldshell software

In your Goldshell software, on left side of page, click on “miner”. Unlock the miner using password (123456789 if you haven’t changed it from Goldshell’s default). Click on “add” (top right of page) within Pool Settings. URL is per F2Pool, e.g. ltc.f2pool.com:8888. You don’t need to type in stratum+tcp://. The miner name is whatever you assigned, e.g. LT5Pro.001. Once done, click “apply”. Wait until the gray shovel icon on the left of the pool setting changes to green, indicating that it’s working and communicating with F2Pool.

If you’re mining LTC, make sure that you merge mine so that you’re getting the larger DOGE reward as well. F2Pool’s web site has a lot of info in general (e.g. detailed mining tutorial) as well as coin specific setup instructions.

You also need to tell F2Pool the wallet that will receive your coins. So in F2Pool, click on top right icon (looks like head/shoulders of a person, or a bell) then on “account settings”. You should see your mining account and whatever description you gave it. In that account, click on “payout settings”. On this page, you can add/change the miner description and add/change the wallet address. On the left side, you can also click on “Security” and add 2FA, change login password etc.
