Howdy,
I received my MNTD (Black) last week but have not gotten around to setting it up. I just got an email from Bobcat and it looks like my Bobcat 300 I ordered back on October will be here soon.
My question is which one should I install at home? Or does it matter? (I will be connecting to a 5.8db RAK antenna mounted on my roof.) The one that I do not install at home will go to another site I have on a shared rewards basis.

Personally, I would setup the MNTD with the external antenna, and the Bobcat at the other site. The MNTD comes with a 1.5 (or something close) dbi antenna, and the Bobcat comes with a 4db antenna on a cable. So the Bobcat is gonna be easier to get good placement at a friends house without having to setup an external antenna system.
I have both, I have my Bobcat 300 installed at my shop a few miles away and my MNTD Black At my house, both running a 10 dbi ant Anna I got and upgraded antenna cables
