Modular power supply or Bitmain apw7

Hey everyone, I have 3 goldshell boxes I am waiting on - A minidoge, a ck, and a kd. Is there a preference or specific reason to go with either a bitmain apw7 or a 80+ gold 850w modular power supply like a corsair or evga? The 3 boxes will pull approximately 650-685 watts including the ± 5% that goldshell says. I will be running on US 110/120v outlet. The prices are just about the same for either on Amazon. Just looking for opinions or tips. Thanks

if the prices are the same go for the better wattage which would be the apw7. That way if you get more goldshell miners your psu will be capable of running them.

Thanks for the feedback and info! I have also heard several people mention changing the pcie cables from 18 to 16 gauge on the box miners like these, I don’t think I can do that with the bitmain, any opinion on that? I would think with the bitmain being rated that high that it would not be an issue. Thanks again for any opinion/input!

i believe apw7 cables are 16 gauge.
