Moved and now Doge miner shuts down PSU

Good morning or evening wherever you are. We just moved to a new house and our mini doge miner has worked great for the past 3-4 months. I plugged the psu (600w 80gold) and it came on. I plugged the miner in and a red light on the miner flashed red and everything shutdown. Including the psu. I had to remove the jumper wire on the psu to get the unit to turn back on but every time I connect the doge miner it shuts the psu off. It (miner) was packed in its original box along with the psu and put in the passenger seat of my wife’s car during the move so it wasn’t damaged or put through stress. I just don’t understand why it keeps killing the psu now? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It could be an overloaded breaker. Do you know what breaker everything is connected to?

Psu powers back up once I remove the jumper wire and connect it back. No breakers are being tripped. Once I plug it in the miner it kills the psu. I’m stumped

What type of PSU? Is there anything else connected to it?

Sorry I thought it was a 600w. It’s a 750w. Nothing else plugged into it beside just the miner. I tried a couple different outlets but same results. I’m wondering if the miners board went bad or shorted out.

Possible power supply issue and not miner issue?? Have you tried a different psu or powering something else with it? I think it’s weird you have to unplug and reconnect jumper to get psu to power back on. I would think it could just be switched off and back on, or unplugged and plugged back into ac and have it work without messing with the jumper. @Hauln

I can switch the power button on and off and it doesn’t reset. Nor unplugging it. I can order another psu and try it. I don’t have any handy near by.

Yeah, that’s a weird one. I’d hate to spend the money on a new psu and it not fix it, but it’s probably faster than goldshell tech support. Just check return policy first in case that doesn’t fix it.

Sorry for the delay. Still unpacking and all that fun stuff. I did buy a new psu and got it yesterday. Got it all hooked up and now it’s working again. Not sure what happened to the old psu because it was less than 6 months old. Oh well at least we are back up and running. Thanks for your help!
