Need Help With F2Pool and ASIC Miner Setup

Hey guys. So, I just got everything hooked up with all the power yesterday and got my network working correctly. Now for the hard part for me. I found the IP address and hooked up the miner to F2pool. But I’m not understanding the pool addresses and if I did them correctly. One of the pools is reading abnormal. Can someone please guide me? I’ll post pictures of what I’m seeing and hopefully I’m not posting anything I’m not supposed to. Please forgive my ignorance in this but I trust this community to help. Thank you!

Also, I have a follow-up question. When I hook up my second miner to the F2pool do I use the same 3 addresses and then name it differently like kevinpotts.002 instead of kevinpotts.001?

if you want to track it unit to unit, otherwise F2pool will treat all your units as “1” miner.
i usually do name of the miner, for example:
kevinpotts.kdbox01@
kevinpotts.kdbox02@
just easier to track, especially when you have more units and different coins.
Another suggestion, write down the name on the post it and put it on the miner. Just easier to reference later on.

As far as my first question concerning the correct setup, does everything look ok to you?

Yes, everything looks fine to me. Great job on powering up your machine. Took me hours to figure this out in the beginning lol…

Hey @cryptominernv !! It took me some hours too. I had some network issues to start and it was an easy fix. There just isn’t a lot of information about what everything should read on the antminers as far as what is correct and not. So, being my first time I thought I’d ask you guys. But if everything looks right then I guess I managed to get it correct. LOL. Here is a pic of my first set up.

that green power cable looks awesome lol. i have the boring black one. your setup looks nice.do you have plans to scale higher in the future?

Absolutely. As you know these two bad boys weren’t free. lol. So, I’ll be expanding once I get my feet wet with them and seeing how everything performs and to see how it all works. Definitely need to quite these down a bit so that’ll be my next thing. Not sure what to do yet but I’ll think of something. They’re in my basement so the sound travels a bit especially since It’s an unfinished basement. But those are small potatoes compared to getting this all up and running. I just want to see consistent payouts and see my electricity bill and once all is good I’ll probably get another miner. Not sure if I just want to keep mining bitcoin or try for something different. I did get a helium Bobcat miner because it just was so inexpensive nut as i look in my area there are other bobcats that get between $8-$16 a day. So,we’ll see what I end up getting. Any suggestions on other machines or crypto currencies? Are you mining bitcoin? What kind of setup do you have?
