I was just trying to decide who to purchase the Elphapex DG1 Home from when I came across a video from the mining stacker on this new Dogecoin miner which seems very interesting. I see it listed on August mining who I know nothing about and on a couple of probable scammer sites.
I was curious if anyone kbows anythimg about this miner and was also curious if August mimig is a legitimate seller. I am a new to mining and it seems very difficult to figure out who is a legit seller and who is not.

I’m new to mining but I have some unused solar power that would be perfect for a home miner or 2. They can be used for heat as well which gives even more electricity from the solar during the winter to use. I even had the thought of getting some hydro miners and using them to heat the swimming pool as 35,000 gallons of water would make an interesting heat sink for most of the year here and allow me to extend the swimming season considerably.
After 46 plus years in the repair and racing side of the automotive industry ( note the one of a kind Hornet R/T in my profile) with the last 20 on cuting edge diagnostics, I thought this would be interesting and quite frankly easier than what I retired from. Boy, was I wrong!!! I do like a challenge though!!
I will say the one thing that totally surprises me about crypto mining is the amount of bad actors in this industry. As I have been researching my next miner carefully, I have found no shortage of scammers and an amazing lack of consistency from sellers or exchanges in general. It’s kind of like the wild west!! Just finding the seller or exchange that makes me confident is proving to be a challenge.
