Been wanting to do this for the past 3 years. Well better do it now before it goes away. Going to start with 1 gpu and get up and running then go to a 6 gpu rig and maybe 12 if my friend want to get in on it.

Been reading and watching videos so I’m going to give it a shot

Bought Asus B250 miner expert with a Celeron g3930
I have 10x750w server power supply that I use for my pixel Christmas lights.

Need to get ram, ssd, GPUs,risers
Going to go with AMD 5700 xt

With all the info I can find everyone says the use 5700 or 5700 xt but never specify which one/model.

Going off amazon they have 7-8 different ones to pick ranging from 399-479. Does the model matter and is the 399 fine?

I don’t exp with that GPU, but I just wanted to say welcome.

I do have that mobo, red panda mining has recent videos about that board and the weird aspects of it. Some of which won’t apply to 6 or 12 cards.

As far as I know, any DDR4 should work. Don’t spend too much, there is no need to.
