Hello everyone I am New here. I recently received my long awaited Bobcat Miner 300. I set it up last Thursday and started seeing transactions on Friday morning. I set it up wirelessly and thought it would start to pick up speed based upon what I’ve read. Well I wasn’t sure if I needed an ethernet cable connected as 2.4 is only option not 5.0 wirelessly. So Sunday I plugged in an ethernet cable. See’s like it slowed down. Now I learned yesterday that the entire network was down and just back up this morning. I guess my question is I’ve earned .84 HNT since I started 6 days ago. Do I have to do anything as far as an Update because I can’t find any instructions to tell me how. Or does it automatically update. I read I should try to put Antena as high as possible. Already on 2nd fl window seal. IF anyone could offer some info I’d be grateful. Thanks and happy Mining.

Nothing for you to do. The network does OTA every day seems like in the last 2 weeks.

Do not believe the websites on the active or relayed status. They are way behind real time information.

Ethernet is always perfered if the location of the unit is too to have a cable attached. If on WiFi I use the 2.4 non 5G on mine went I did some sync time.

High as possible on the antenna and before all this network shut down the 5.8Db was the go to antenna. No telling what they did to the RSSI and SNR however on what is running now.
