It will be interesting to see how the chinese miner manufacturers react to the tariffs imposed on them. This isn’t a political thread. It’s more about how they will adapt and how it affects the buyers and stockists.
I’m already aware of one dealer in China selling direct from Malaysia where I think the tariffs are 13%. But there’s a min order of 20 units.
From what I’ve seen, Bitmain had setup a manufacturing facility in the US and was producing S21s there, which will benefit those farms who had bought miner futures. Imagine dropping millions on miners 6 months ago just to get told now the price has doubled because of import tariffs, you’d be fuming. But I wonder how far this will go, because what if the US decided to tariff Chinese companies in general, then it would get hard
