I’m looking to purchase a Goldshell KD5, new or used… but don’t want to get ripped off and/or pay 10x actual price. Who can point me in the proper direction? And, are there still any preorders available on a KD6 anywhere? Also, being as I’m a newbie to this, I’d be more than happy for some advice concerning software and the like. Cheers!
My suggestion is to do more research before you buy a kd6. You said you’re a newbie, trust me when I say it is in your best interest to start a little slower and learn a few things. Don’t fomo into anything, Crypto is getting stronger and will be here tomorrow.

No doubt, this is kind of like the Internet in the early 90s. But, yeah… The KD6 is a little pricey. I’m just hoping to find a Katie five that hasn’t been priced gouged out of this world…

What do you consider a high price? I saw a used KD5 go for around $39k on ebay around a week ago. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen.

Cryptominernv is a pretty good guy. Just call his business on the phone. If he can’t get what you want at a competitive price, you will at least get a price and opinion from someone people trust.
Same with https://bigskyasics.com/, Aaron_Raycove has more than proven himself a good guy. Call him on the tele and see what he has to say or offer.
Both of these people/venders/companies are here on Vosk and have open chats with anyone needing help. They may not be what you want or are looking for, but they are good dudes, and that goes far in our little world. Both of their web sites are chalked full of info and products to study/consider.
I crypto 24/7 for a living. Those are the only 2 people I’d buy equipment from (aside from Bitmain), I’m even willing pay a premium more just to know I’m not getting scammed or burned (not saying they have high prices, just generally saying). And things like warranty or future relationships. If… someday you turn into a warehouse filled with miners, those 2 venders might be your new best friends.
